About Traffic
Airplane:
Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Chengdu, Xi'an, and Kunming are the most prominent international airports in China. Direct flights to European ports such as Paris, London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Rome, Madrid, and Athens have been opened.

China's domestic aviation network extends in all directions, with flights connecting major tourist cities such as Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guilin, and Guangzhou. Other regions, such as Xinjiang, Gansu, Yunnan, and Guizhou, also have flights to major transportation hubs like Beijing and Shanghai.
For medium-to-long-distance domestic travel in China, such as trips between two destinations over 1000 kilometers apart, tourists are recommended to take comfortable and fast flights. Tickets can be booked through the official websites of various airlines. The main domestic airlines include:
Air China https://www.airchina.com.cn/
China Eastern Airlines https://www.ceair.com/
China Southern Airlines https://www.csair.com/cn/
Hainan Airlines https://www.hainanairlines.com/CN/CN/Home
Tips:
Under normal circumstances, the free baggage allowance for checked baggage on domestic flights in China is 20KG per person for economy class, 30KG per person for business class, and 40KG per person for first class.
Some cities have two airports, which usually operate both domestic and international flights simultaneously. Please pay attention to this when purchasing tickets and planning your travel.
