Panda Base

Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is a globally renowned institution for the protection and research of giant pandas, and is also one of the must visit attractions for tourists visiting Chengdu.

Up close viewing of giant pandas: There are nearly a hundred giant pandas living in the base, including cubs, subadults, and adult pandas. Tourists can observe their natural state of eating, playing, and resting.
Panda cub paradise: June to September every year is the panda breeding season, and newborn cubs will appear in the sun or moon delivery room, full of cuteness.
Red Panda Ecological Zone: In addition to giant pandas, you can also encounter lively red pandas who freely roam in the forest and may "bump into" you.

Panda Villa Area: An outdoor activity area for adult pandas, where they can be seen climbing trees and gnawing on bamboo.
Panda Tower: a landmark building with a height of 69.8 meters, offering panoramic views from the top (reservation required).
Science Museum: Interactive understanding of panda evolution history and conservation knowledge through images and models.
Panda Theater: Free documentaries are played daily (specific time subject to on-site announcement).
