Badaling Great Wall is the most representative, the most essence and the most famous section of the Great Wall of China. It is also the first section of the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty that was opened to tourists, the best preserved and the most mature facilities. It is located at the north entrance of the Guangou Ancient Road in Jundushan, Yanqing District, Beijing. It is recognized as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and is known as a "monument to human civilization" and the "key to Beijing's north gate".

Dangerous terrain: Located on the ridge of Jundu Mountain at an altitude of 1015 meters, with overlapping mountains and steep terrain, it has been a military strategic stronghold since ancient times where the danger of Juyong Pass lies not in the pass but in Badaling.
Complete construction: The military defense systems such as the city walls, enemy towers, beacon towers, and gates are well preserved, with tall and sturdy walls that embody the superb craftsmanship and defense wisdom of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall architecture.

Multiple ways to enter the city:
Hiking and climbing: the most classic way to deeply experience the magnificence of the Great Wall.
Cableway/Cable Car/Trolley:
North Line Cableway (Aerial Cableway): From the Guntian Gou parking lot to the North 7th floor, near Haohanpo.
