Erhai Lake is located in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is the second largest freshwater lake in Yunnan Province (second only to Dianchi Lake) and is named after its resemblance to human ears and large waves like the sea. It is not only the "mother lake" of the Bai people, but also famous for the stunning scenery of "Cangshan Erhai Lake" where mountains and waters depend on each other. It is known as the "pearl of the plateau" and the "Geneva Lake of the East".

Cang'er Integrated Landscape
Erhai Lake and the nineteen peaks of Cangshan Mountain complement each other, creating a romantic atmosphere of "wind, flowers, snow, and moon" (Xiaguan wind, Shangguan flowers, Cangshan snow, Erhai Lake moon), which is one of the most poetic landscape paintings in China.
Ecological Corridor around the Lake
The ecological corridor, with a total length of about 129 kilometers, connects wetlands, villages, and rural areas, allowing for cycling, walking, and all-round access to Erhai Lake. Motor vehicles are prohibited in the corridor, and the environment is quiet and pure.
Bai Ethnic Culture Corridor
There are numerous Bai ethnic villages scattered around the lake, preserving traditional dwellings (three courtyards and one wall), ancestral worship, and folk customs. It is a living museum of Bai ethnic culture.
