Forest of Steles Museum is the most famous treasure trove of stone carving art and inscriptions in China and even the world, known as the "largest stone book library in China" and the "temple of calligraphy art". It is not just a 'forest', but a thematic historical and artistic museum centered around ancient stone tablets, epitaphs, and stone carvings.

This is the "Mecca" for calligraphy enthusiasts, gathering the original stone masterpieces of top calligraphers from various dynasties from the Han to the Qing.
The Kaicheng Stone Sutra: One of the treasures of the town hall. Made in the Tang Dynasty, it includes 12 Confucian classics such as the Book of Changes, the Book of Documents, and the Book of Songs, totaling 114 stones and 650000 words. It was the official "standard textbook" of ancient times.
The Shitai Filial Piety Sutra: the foremost treasure of the town hall. Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, Li Longji, wrote the preface, annotations, and inscriptions on the stele. The inscription was written in seal script by Crown Prince Li Heng (Emperor Suzong of Tang), and the four stone platforms on the body of the stele are exquisitely carved, combining the "three wonders" of emperors, filial piety, and calligraphy.
Inscriptions of famous calligraphers from various dynasties: displaying the inscriptions of almost all the giants in the history of calligraphy, such as Yan Zhenqing, Liu Gongquan, Ouyang Xun, Chu Suiliang, Zhang Xu, Huai Su, Wang Xizhi, Mi Fu, Zhao Ji (Emperor Huizong of Song), etc. The famous Yan Family Temple Stele, Xuanmi Pagoda Stele, Cao Quan Stele, Xiping Stone Sutra, and other remaining stones are all located here.
