Guilin Romance of the Ages is a large-scale cultural theme park in Yangshuo, developed by Songcheng Performance Group. Located in Yangshuo County, Guilin City, its core attraction is the must-see performance "Guilin Romance of the Ages," while the scenic area itself is also a comprehensive tourist area integrating dining, entertainment, and leisure.

Core Project: *Guilin Romance of the Ages* Performance
This is the heart of the scenic area, hailed as one of the "must-see performances of a lifetime." The performance utilizes high-tech methods such as sound, light, and electricity, combined with stage machinery and a three-dimensional space encompassing land, water, and air, to depict the historical legends of Guilin spanning thousands of years.

The performance is divided into the following acts (the specific order and names may be slightly adjusted according to revisions):

*The Call of Antiquity*: The prologue, showcasing the life scenes of the primitive ancestors of Guilin, and the process from the beginning of chaos to the birth of civilization.

*The Song of the Earth*: Showcasing the prosperity of Guilin's multi-ethnic community. The stage presents songs and dances of the Zhuang, Yao, Dong, and Miao ethnic groups, with fluttering red ribbons and resounding drums, vividly demonstrating the ethnic customs such as antiphonal singing, embroidered balls, and the lusheng (a reed pipe instrument).

*The Ancient Ling Canal*: Telling the history of the construction of the Ling Canal during the Qin Dynasty. The Qin army and local people worked together to excavate this great canal connecting the Xiang River and the Li River. The stage recreates the arduous task of clearing mountains and the grand occasion of north-south communication after the Ling Canal's completion. This scene is often grand in scale, with special effects depicting floods and the excavation of mountains.

*Li River Love Song*: Set against the backdrop of Guilin's landscape, this performance tells a poignant love story that takes place on the banks of the Li River (inspired by the legend of Liu Sanjie or local folk tales). It portrays the joys and sorrows of lovers through song and dance.

*Searching for Liu Sanjie*: The epilogue. Liu Sanjie is a cultural symbol of Guangxi. This scene brings the atmosphere to a climax, transforming the entire theater into a sea of song, expressing the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty, and the deep affection for the Guilin landscape.

Highlights: 300 actors, a 360-degree panoramic performance, tens of thousands of stage machinery, and special effects such as hundreds of thousands of liters of floodwater pouring down the stage—a truly breathtaking spectacle.

Suitable for:

Families: Children enjoy outdoor playground equipment and interactive activities, while seniors appreciate performances. The indoor theater is comfortable year-round.

Couples/Friends: Take photos, enjoy performances, and experience local ethnic customs.

Travelers interested in history and culture: Quickly learn about Guilin's Lingqu Canal culture, minority cultures, and legends through a performance.
