Guozigou Bridge

The Guozigou Bridge is located in Huocheng County, Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is a spectacular cable-stayed bridge over the Guozigou Gorge. It is not only an important part of Lianyungang Khorgos Expressway (G30), but also the only way from Sayram Lake to Yining, known as "the first bridge in Xinjiang" and "the first scenery in Ili".

Design features
Twin Towers and Double Cable Planes: Two main towers tower into the clouds, supported by inclined cables on the bridge deck, with beautiful shapes and smooth lines.
Steel truss structure: The bridge deck adopts a steel truss structure, which not only ensures the strength and stability of the bridge, but also reduces its own weight.
engineering technology
High difficulty construction: Constructing bridges in high mountain canyons at an altitude of over 2000 meters is extremely challenging. The builders overcame challenges such as complex terrain, variable climate, and difficulties in material transportation.
Environmental protection concept: Bridge construction fully considers environmental protection requirements and minimizes damage to the ecological environment of the canyon.
visual impact
The bridge deck is about 200 meters away from the valley floor, and driving on the bridge feels like speeding in the air. Looking up from the valley floor, the bridge is like a giant dragon lying across the mountains, with a magnificent momentum.

Four Seasons Scenery:
Spring and summer: The canyon is covered in lush green grass, wildflowers bloom, pine trees stand tall, and full of vitality.
Autumn: Layers of forests are dyed, with golden, orange red, and emerald green interwoven, colorful.
Winter: Covered in white snow, the canyon is tranquil, and the bridge appears even more spectacular in the snow.

Sairam Lake
The northern end of Guozigou Bridge connects to Sailimu Lake. Entering Guozigou from the direction of the lake, the bridge gradually comes into view as you descend the slope, creating a magnificent scenery.
Viewing platform
There are multiple observation decks on both sides of the canyon, making it the best location for taking panoramic shots of the bridge. Standing on the observation deck, one can simultaneously appreciate the grandeur of the bridge and the beauty of the canyon.
