Heavenly Lake of Tianshan, formerly known as "Yaochi", is a high mountain lake located in Fukang City, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is situated under the Bogda Peak in the eastern section of the Tianshan Mountains. It is renowned for its unique snow capped mountains, lakes, and forest landscapes, and is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Xinjiang, as well as a national AAAAA level tourist attraction.
The Heavenly Lake of Tianshan Scenic Area is divided into three main parts: Da Tian Chi, Dong Xiao Tian Chi, and Xi Xiao Tian Chi, as well as surrounding snow capped mountains, forests, and meadows.
Da Tianchi
This is the core area of Tianchi Lake, with a wide and clear lake surface surrounded by mountains.

Main attraction: There is the famous Tianchi Waterfall here, with water flowing down from a hundred meter high cliff in a majestic manner.
Xixiaotianchi
Also known as the "Queen Mother's Foot Basin", it is located northwest of Datianchi.

Bogda Peak
