Travel Tips

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is located about 15 kilometers north of Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. It is a modern oceanic glacier area with the lowest latitude in the Northern Hemisphere and the closest distance to the equator. It is also the "sacred mountain" in the hearts of the Naxi people (known as "Oulu" in Naxi language). The main peak fan has a steep altitude of 5596 meters and is covered in snow all year round, resembling a silver giant dragon lying horizontally in the clouds, hence the name "Jade Dragon".

Collection of Natural Wonders
It has various vertical ecological landscapes such as glaciers, snow capped peaks, alpine meadows, primitive forests, streams and lakes, and can be called a "natural alpine flora and fauna garden".
Naxi Cultural Holy Land
In the Naxi epic "Genesis", Yulong Snow Mountain is the embodiment of the guardian deity "San Duo", and the annual "San Duo Festival" on the eighth day of the second lunar month is an important festival for worshipping the sacred mountain.
Extreme altitude experience
The observation deck of Glacier Park, accessible to tourists at an altitude of 4680 meters, allows for close contact with glaciers without the need for professional mountaineering equipment, challenging physical limits.
