Travel Tips

Jingshan Park is located in Xicheng District, Beijing, on the north side of the Palace Museum, and is a serene royal garden. It is located at the center and high point of Beijing's central axis, and was a royal garden of the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is also an excellent location for overlooking the panoramic view of the Forbidden City and the central style of Beijing.

Wanchun Pavilion (Central Axis High Point)
Core highlight: The highest point of the park, which is also the center and highest point on the central axis of Beijing (with an altitude of about 94.2 meters).
Landscape: Here, you can enjoy a 360 degree panoramic view of Beijing city. To the south, you can overlook the magnificent golden glazed tiles of the Forbidden City. To the north, you can see the Bell and Drum Towers and modern urban style. To the west, you can see the White Pagoda in Beihai, and to the east, you can see the skyscrapers of Beijing CBD (a classic picture of ancient and modern buildings framed together). This is a must visit place for photography enthusiasts.

Core Experience and Value
The stunning perspective of "The Peak of Purple Forbidden City": Climbing up to the Wanchun Pavilion and seeing the Forbidden City unfolding beneath your feet is an irreplaceable experience for visiting Jingshan.
Understanding the Central Axis of Beijing: Standing at the center point of the central axis and intuitively understanding the rigorous and symmetrical planning and layout of this ancient capital.
Experience the intersection of history: one is the end of the dynasty (where Chongzhen hanged himself), and the other is the imperial lineage (Shouhuang Hall), with a strong sense of history.
A relaxed and pleasant stroll through the royal gardens: Compared to the grand and crowded Forbidden City, this place is more suitable for a quiet stroll, relaxing the body and mind.
