Travel Tips

Jinli Ancient Street is one of the most representative historical and cultural districts in Chengdu, known as the "First Street of Western Sichuan" and the "Chengdu version of Qingming Riverside Scene". It is not a complete reconstruction of a historical site, but a themed block that condenses the folk customs of western Sichuan, the culture of the Three Kingdoms, and the hustle and bustle of the city.

The name Jinli can be traced back to Western Shu, and it is said to have been one of the oldest commercial streets in Chengdu. Nowadays, Jinli has been restored and expanded on the original site, and its biggest feature is the highly concentrated experience:
Distinctive theme: Based on the Three Kingdoms cultural background of Wuhou Temple, Three Kingdoms elements can be seen everywhere in the block, such as Shu Han flags and character sculptures.
Atmosphere creation: The bluestone board road, gray bricks and black tiles, lanterns hanging high, and winding water alleys perfectly replicate the charm of the ancient town in western Sichuan.
Functional combination: integrating "eating, strolling, playing, and enjoying" in one place, satisfying tourists' imagination of the old Chengdu style in one stop.

Folk Memory Area (Entrance Area):
Iconic memorial archway: The "Jinli" memorial archway at the entrance is a classic punch in point.
Traditional craft stalls: sugar blowing figurines, dough kneading figurines, Paper Cuttings, shadow play, gourd pyrography, etc., full of nostalgic interest.
Three Kingdoms Cultural Experience Zone:
Zhuge crossbow: You can pay to experience shooting.
Three Kingdoms Person Store: Selling related souvenirs.
Incorporating a large number of Three Kingdoms story elements into architecture and decoration.
Market Life and Food District (Core Area):
Gourmet Street: This is the soul of Jinli! The streets are lined with snack stalls and restaurants.
Must try snacks:
Zhang Fei Beef (often played by "Zhang Fei" on site)
Three cannons (with deafening sound during the production process, highly ornamental)
Sugar oil fruit
Sad jelly
Pot Pot Chicken
Fat intestine powder
Ye'erba
Suggestion: Order one portion of each snack and share it with multiple people to taste more flavors.
Bar entertainment area (waterfront area):
Famous bars and tea houses such as Lianhua Mansion are built along the water.
The night atmosphere is excellent: the red lanterns reflect in the water, making it perfect for drinking, listening to music, and enjoying the night view.
