Primitive Forest Park

Xishuangbanna Primitive Forest Park is located in the outskirts of Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is the closest and most conveniently accessible primitive tropical rainforest protection area to Jinghong City. The park integrates primitive natural scenery, ethnic customs experiences, and outdoor entertainment projects, and is known as the "concentrated version of rainforest ecology" and the "outdoor museum of Dai culture".

Hiking and sightseeing boardwalk: With a total length of about 2 kilometers, it is laid along Jinhu Lake and Jiulong Waterfall, providing a close-up view of the four wonders of the tropical rainforest:
Strangulation phenomenon: Grid trees entangle the host tree and eventually replace it.
Plate shaped root: A huge plate shaped root formed by tall trees as a stable foundation.
Sky Garden: Plants such as ferns and orchids grow on tree trunks and branches.
Old stem produces flowers/fruits: Flowers or fruits bloom directly on the sturdy trunk of the tree.
The Six Wonders of Rainforest Science Popularization: With explanatory signs along the way, it is an excellent classroom for understanding the rainforest ecosystem.
