Travel Tips

Qianmen Street is located in the southern section of Beijing's central axis, starting from Zhengyangmen Arrow Tower (Qianmen) in the north and ending at Zhushikou Street in the south, with a total length of about 800 meters. It was once the imperial road for emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to go to the Temple of Heaven to worship, and it was also a famous commercial street in old Beijing, known as the "Heavenly Street". Now, after renovation, it has reproduced the style of the early Republic of China and is an experiential pedestrian street with a "Beijing style culture".

Historical style architecture
Dangdang Car (Tram): The old Beijing "Dangdang Car" track has been rebuilt in the center of the street, and tourists can pay to ride it. With the sound of the "Dangdang" bell, they can tour the entire street, as if traveling back to the Republican era.
Archway: There are exquisite archways at both ends of the street, which are signs for taking photos and checking in.
Antique architectural complex: The buildings on both sides of the street are mostly made of gray bricks and black tiles, imitating the classical Chinese Western style, preserving the original site style of old brands such as Ruifuxiang, Neiliansheng, and Zhang Yiyuan.

Suggested travel routes
North Exit Entrance: Get out of Qianmen subway station and enjoy the Zhengyangmen Arrow Tower first.
Strolling along the main street: Walk south along Qianmen Street, experience the clanging car, and browse the appearance of old brand stores on both sides.
Diamond Hutong: Focus on visiting Dashilan and Xianyukou, deeply experiencing old shops and tasting snacks.
Enjoy modernity: Go to Beijing Fang, visit PageOne Bookstore, have a cup of coffee, and enjoy the dialogue between modernity and antiquity.
Seeking tranquility: If you have time, you can turn into Sanlihe Park to rest.
South Exit: Finally arrive at Zhushikou and end the tour.
