Tiananmen Square is a landmark building located at the northern end of Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world and located in the center of Beijing, China. It was first built in the 15th year of the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty (1417) and was the main entrance of the imperial cities of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Originally called "Chengtian Gate", it was rebuilt in the 8th year of the Shunzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1651) and renamed "Tiananmen Square", meaning "entrusted to heaven, to govern the country in peace".
Nowadays, it is not only the geographical center of Beijing, but also a national symbol and political landmark of the People's Republic of China. Its image is designed in the center of the national emblem, with extraordinary significance.

The rostrum is a palace style building with double eaves on the top of the mountain. It is 34.7 meters high. On the base of White Marble, the tower has five arched gateways. Above it is a magnificent hall with red walls and yellow tiles, and carved beams and painted rafters.
Ornamental column, Shishi, Jinshui River and Waijinshui Bridge are dotted in front of the tower, which together form a complete royal architectural etiquette system, reflecting the ultimate regulation and aesthetics of ancient Chinese architecture.

The world's largest square: covering an area of 44 hectares, it can accommodate a gathering of one million people and is located directly south of Tiananmen Square.
The National Political and Cultural Center: The square and surrounding areas are home to China's most important political and cultural buildings, forming a grand group of national symbols:
Monument to People's Heroes: In the center of the square, it commemorates the heroes who sacrificed for the country in modern times.
Chairman Mao Memorial Hall: On the south side, the remains of Chairman Mao Zedong are placed.
Great Hall of the People: To the west, the location of the highest authority of the state.
National Museum of China: On the east side, the highest hall of Chinese culture.
