Ruyi Peak, officially known as Ruyi Peak Cableway Scenic Area, is a newly emerging high-altitude aerial sightseeing area in Yangshuo, Guilin in recent years. Due to its unique tour method (cable car ride to the summit) and the stunning 360-degree panoramic view of Yangshuo's karst peaks, it has quickly become a popular tourist destination, with the saying, "Climb Ruyi Peak, and you'll see all of Yangshuo."
The tour route to Ruyi Peak is a loop, without backtracking, and mainly includes the following experiences:
Yuanbao Peak Cableway (Scenic Cable Car)
The tour begins with a cable car ride. The cable car slowly ascends from the flat ground, gradually opening up the view. Through the car windows, the villages, fields, and towering peaks below are breathtaking.
Ruyi Suspension Bridge
After disembarking from the cable car, you will first cross a red suspension bridge suspended between two mountains. The bridge is adorned with red ribbons and wishing plaques, fluttering in the wind. Walking on the bridge is a gentle sway, making it an excellent spot for taking photos and enjoying the scenery.
Ruyi Cloud Top (Summit Viewing Platform)
This is the highest point in the scenic area and offers the most expansive views. The viewing platform is designed as a large circular or multi-tiered platform.
Standing here, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Yangshuo's karst peaks. Countless uniquely shaped green mountains stretch endlessly, with winding rivers and neat rural villages below, creating a truly magnificent scene.
Glass Skywalk
A glass viewing walkway built on a cliff face. Below lies a sheer drop, and through the glass, you can see directly to the bottom of the valley. It's a thrilling experience for adventurous visitors (special shoe covers are required).
Forest Walking Trail
An elevated walkway connecting various attractions, winding through the mountains and forests. It's relatively gentle, allowing for a leisurely enjoyment of the scenery.
