The Sanxingdui Ruins (Ancient Shu Culture Site) is considered one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the 20th century, full of mystery and awe.

Sanxingdui does not belong to any known system of Chinese civilization, but represents an independently developed and brilliant ancient Shu kingdom (about 4800-2600 years ago). Its cultural relics are known for their "mysterious, exaggerated, and fantastic" style:
Surrealing Bronze Art: The enormous vertical eye mask, the Heavenly Tree, and the 2.62-meter-tall bronze standing figure showcase unprecedented imagination and casting techniques.
Without any written words, they speak of everything: to this day, no written words have been discovered, but these artifacts themselves are a "visual epic" that tells the story of the ancient Shu people's divine power system, cosmology, and sacrificial rituals.
Continuous new discoveries: The excavation of new pits since 1986 and 2020 has shocked the world, with a large number of new cultural relics such as golden masks and bronze jars constantly unearthed, making Sanxingdui a global archaeological hotspot.

Must see Treasure of Town Hall:
Bronze standing figure: The tallest and most complete surviving bronze figure statue, possibly the "leader of the group of witches" or the ancient Shu king.
Bronze Divine Tree (Restoration): Standing at a height of 3.96 meters, it consists of three layers and nine branches, with a divine bird on top. It is a physical representation of the "Fusang Tree" in the Classic of Mountains and Seas, representing the cosmic tree that connects heaven and earth.
Golden Mask: Recently unearthed, with a gold content of about 85%, it is currently the heaviest gold mask discovered during the Shang and Zhou dynasties in China.
Bronze vertical eyed mask: with extremely prominent eyeballs and huge ears, it is believed to be an imagination of the ancient Shu ancestors of the "heavenly gods" or the ancestor "silkworm clusters".
Bronze sun shaped object: like a steering wheel, it is a direct manifestation of sun worship.
Turtle shaped grid (bronze grid): newly discovered in 2022, with a unique shape and mysterious function.
