It is renowned both at home and abroad for its rich collection, complete range of categories, and collection of exquisite works. Its architectural design (the tripod shape of "round sky and square earth") is also an iconic artwork.

Positioning: a comprehensive museum of ancient Chinese art, focusing on displaying the essence of cultural relics and art in various historical periods of China.

The collection of bronze ware, ceramics, calligraphy and painting, coins, jade, seals, and sculptures is particularly distinctive, with a complete system and exquisite quality.
