Shuanglang Ancient Town is located in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, on the northeast coast of Erhai Lake, surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing water on one side. It is known as the "first town of Cang'er scenery". This used to be the summer palace of the Nanzhao royal family in the Tang Dynasty, but now it has become one of the most popular travel destinations by the Erhai Lake due to its ultimate waterfront landscape, artistic atmosphere, and slow pace of life.
Excellent viewing location
Shuanglang boasts panoramic views of the 19 peaks of Cangshan and Erhai Lake, especially when the sun sets in the west, the lake surface shimmers with golden light, and Cangshan is as beautiful as jade. It is known as one of the "most beautiful sunset viewing spots in Erhai Lake".
Artist gathering place
Due to the presence of artists such as Yang Liping (Sun Palace, Moon Palace) and painter Zhao Qing (Qinglu), the Double Corridor has been infused with a strong artistic atmosphere, and the architectural design is cleverly integrated with the natural landscape.
Hydrophilic Experience Ceiling
The ancient town is built along the lake, and a large number of homestays and cafes have "zero distance" waterfront platforms, truly achieving the goal of "pushing the window to see the sea, sleeping on the waves".
