Silver Cave is a famous karst cave scenic area in Yangshuo, Guilin, and is known as one of the "world's karst cave wonders" and "China's most beautiful tourist caves". It is a typical multi-level cave that runs through twelve mountain peaks. Inside the cave, stalactites that have developed and grown in different geological eras are crystal clear and flawless, like the Milky Way cascading down from the night sky, shimmering with a light like silver and diamonds, hence the name "Silver Cave".

Origin of the Name: The name Silver Cave comes from the stalactites inside the cave. Under the light, the rock walls and pillars reflect a silvery-white luster, shimmering like silver. A local saying goes, "Visit Silver Cave, and you'll never lack money in your life," adding an auspicious connotation and attracting many tourists.

Silver Cave is a subterranean stream cave, about 2 kilometers long, requiring approximately one hour of walking. The tour route is a one-way street, with no backtracking.

The stalactites inside the cave are of various shapes and sizes, with the most famous being the "Three Wonders" and "Three Treasures," which are the highlights:

Three Wonders

Snow Mountain Waterfall: Not far into the cave, you'll see a huge stone curtain, tens of meters high, crystal clear, resembling a series of giant waterfalls cascading down from the snow-capped peaks under the lights—pure white as snow, truly breathtaking.

Musical Stone Screen: Composed of countless stone curtains, resembling a giant screen. Gently tapping it produces melodious music, hence its name.

Jade Pool Wonderland: At the deepest part of the cave, the pool reflects the layers of stalactites above, the water and shadow blending together in a dreamlike and enchanting scene, as if one has truly arrived at the Jade Pool of the Queen Mother of the West.

The Three Treasures

Buddha Discussing the Sutras: A group of naturally formed stalactites, with a large Buddha in the center surrounded by numerous smaller Buddhas, as if listening to the Buddha preach.

The Primordial Pearl Umbrella: A uniquely shaped stone pillar inside the cave, large at the top, small in the middle, and then widening again at the bottom, resembling a folded umbrella. Legend has it that this is a mythical treasure.

The Single Pillar Supporting the Sky: A massive stone pillar tens of meters high, stretching from the cave floor to the ceiling, supporting the entire cavern, a truly magnificent sight.
