Ten-mile Gallery is an excellent canyon trail in Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Scenic Area, famous for its endless, picturesque natural sculptures. It provides a "canyon up view" similar to the Golden Whip Creek, but with a more concentrated and pictographic landscape, and an extremely relaxed way of touring.
Outdoor natural sculpture corridor
This is the soul of the Ten Mile Gallery. The strange peaks along the way have been given vivid names and stories, with the most famous being:
The elderly herbalist (iconic attraction): A stone peak resembling an elderly person carrying a medicine basket and hunched forward, is the "image spokesperson" of the Ten Mile Gallery.
Three sisters peaks: three stone peaks standing side by side, just like three graceful Tujia girls.
Looking at Wang Guanshu: It resembles a king holding a scroll and reading attentively.
Finger Peak (also known as the Sky Tower): an independent peak pointing directly to the sky.
Couples holding their children, Hailuofeng, birthday stars welcoming guests, etc. are all lifelike.
A relaxed and comfortable way of traveling
Sightseeing train (recommended): It travels back and forth between canyons, with automatic voice explanations on board, allowing you to quickly understand the stories of each stone peak. It is recommended to sit on the right side of the direction of travel for the best viewing angle.
Hiking: The trail is flat and there is no climb throughout, making it perfect for easy strolling and savoring. The one-way hike takes about 1-1.5 hours.
Rich flora and fauna
Thick vegetation: The canyon is rich in vegetation, and the scenery varies throughout the four seasons, with lush greenery in spring and summer and colorful hues in autumn.
Macaque sightings: Similar to Jinbian Creek, there are often wild macaques active on the roadside or in the mountains and forests here, adding wildness to the journey (also pay attention to safety, do not feed or tease).

Cultural taboo
China is a multi-ethnic country, and there are significant differences in customs and habits among various ethnic groups. Especially when traveling in ethnic minority areas, it is important to pay attention to cultural taboos, such as taking off shoes when entering a Dai bamboo house, avoiding pork in Hui restaurants, and treating Buddhist statues, scriptures, and beads as sacred objects that must not be touched. It is recommended to listen carefully to the pre-trip introduction provided by the accompanying personnel and respect local culture and customs.
