Tiger Leaping Gorge is located at the junction of Shangri La City in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China and Yulong Naxi Autonomous County in Lijiang City. It is a huge canyon where the Jinsha River (upper reaches of the Yangtze River) crosses between Haba Snow Mountain and Yulong Snow Mountain. It is famous for its danger, steepness, and strangeness, and is known as "one of the deepest canyons in the world" and "one of the top ten most beautiful canyons in China".

World class hiking paradise
High Road Hiking Route: an internationally recognized classic hiking route, along which you can see snow capped mountains, canyons, waterfalls, villages, and magnificent scenery.
Zhonghu Jumping Riverside Trail: Get close to the Jinsha River and experience the shock of the towering waves (you need to pass through the boardwalk or ladder built by local villagers).
Three stage landscape of tiger jumping up, middle, and down
Tiger Jumping: At the narrowest point of the canyon, the "Tiger Jumping Stone" stands tall in the heart of the river. Legend has it that tigers use this stone to leap across the river, hence the name "Tiger Jumping Gorge". The water flow here is the fastest, and the sound of the waves is like thunder.
Zhonghu Jump: Known for its "starry sky" beach danger, the river water is torn into countless strands by reefs here, like stars scattered down.
Jumping off the Tiger: The terrain gradually widens, revealing landscapes such as "deep ditches" and a broad view.
natural wonder
Snow Mountain Confrontation: Yulong Snow Mountain on the east bank (altitude 5596 meters), Haba Snow Mountain on the west bank (altitude 5396 meters), with a vertical height difference of 3900 meters in the canyon.
The roaring of the Jinsha River: During the flood season (June to September), the river is turbulent and majestic; During the dry season (December to April), the river water is emerald green, revealing the danger of rocky beaches.
