Travel Tips

Yellowstone Village is the birthplace of the essence of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, known as "no visit to Huangshi Village, no visit to Zhangjiajie". It is one of the earliest and most famous observation platforms developed in Zhangjiajie, known for its "majestic, open, and panoramic" peak forest landscape.

The stunning cliffs of Huanzhai
At the top of Yellowstone Village is a flat circular tour line, with numerous observation decks along the way, each angle offering a different level of awe:
Qianshan Scenic Area (South Side): Represented by the "Five Finger Peaks", the peaks are arranged like fingers, which is the iconic landscape of Huangshi Village.
Viewing from the back mountain (north side): You can overlook wonders such as "Tianqiao Yidun" (six huge natural stone bridge piers) and "Heizonglong" (a solitary peak covered by primitive forests) from afar.
Representative observation deck:
Six Wonders Pavilion: Located at the highest point of the village, climbing the pavilion offers a panoramic view of the wonders of mountains, waters, clouds, rocks, animals, and plants.
Star Picking Platform: protruding beyond the cliff, as if reaching out to pick up stars, thrilling and exciting.
The two door welcome and natural murals all have magnificent scenery.
"Dinghai Shen Needle"
An independent and slender stone peak stands tall in a deep valley, with a unique shape, named after but different from the stalagmite "Dinghai Shen Zhen" in Huanglong Cave.
Rich ecology and culture
Animals and plants: Rare plants (such as paulownia) and lively macaques can be seen along the way.
Humanistic legends: Almost every stone peak is accompanied by touching myths and legends, making it more interesting to listen to the tour guide's explanations during the visit.

China is a multi-ethnic country, and there are significant differences in customs and habits among various ethnic groups.
